If you're tired of consuming Cincinnati-style chili inside or on top of the usual suspects — on a 3-Way, coney, french fries or in a burrito — a Columbus-based popcorn shop is offering a novel way to get your fix.

Al's Delicious Popcorn is slated to open a location on Main Street in Over-the-Rhine in January 2022.

According to a post on their social media, this storefront will not only "sport its own urban design" to fit in with the vibe of OTR, but will also make its own popcorn daily.

And that includes Cincinnati-style-chili-flavored popcorn (although, we have to say, the photo included with the listing looks more like beefy bean chili versus our beloved hometown favorite).

The popcorn shop also sports a variety of other off-kilter flavors like dill pickle, bubblegum, mint chocolate chip and grilled cheese and tomato soup.

You can purchase popcorn in sizes from a small bag (for about $5) to an extra large tub (for about $50). They also offer a monthly popcorn club.

Al's is a family-run business in operation since 1985 and has two other Ohio storefronts — its flagship at 1500 Bethel Road in Columbus and another shop at 5454 Center St. in Hilliard.
