Behold: The Chili Melt. It's simply a grilled cheese with a ladle of chili in between.

A chili melt. It's a simple concept, but one that deserves some love.

Camp Washington Chili has apparently been offering the Cincinnati chili-infused creation for about two years now, owner Maria Papakirk tells CityBeat

We admit we might be late to the game, but thanks to a tweet from the eatery on Jan. 29, we are now in the 3-way noodle loop.

The melt is essentially a grilled cheese sandwich with a ladle of chili in between, Papakirk tells CityBeat. And although she might be biased, she claims it's pretty dang good — and we'd guess that any chili-lover would agree.

The chili melt is priced at a comfortable $4.65, but we can't say your waistband will agree after you've devoured the savory sammy.

In addition to a variety of melts, the diner boasts 3-,4- and 5-ways, coneys, breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, desserts and sides.
