O Pie O will offer a free carry-out slice for math teachers who show their school ID, in addition to other pie specials.

East Walnut Hills' O Pie O has been in the business of whipping up incredibly delicious pies for the past half-decade or so, first taking on the streets of Findlay Market with a pop-up shop, then opening a brick-and-mortar near the burgeoning Woodburn Avenue in 2015.

While originally famous for their sweet pies, O Pie O's restaurant also does savory — pot pies, quiche, empanadas, etc. And they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a selection of both types. The pie crust anchors the menu with a flakiness that truly melts in your mouth and tastes just as lovely with braised beef or blueberry lavender.

In celebration of a day that has become known as "Pi Day" — as it falls on March 14 or 3.14 (aka pi or π), a mathematic constant for the circumference of a circle divided by its diameter — O Pie O is offering a three slice carry-out special for $14. The three slice special includes the honey vinegar, dark chocolate and lemon pies. In addition to their three-pie deal, they are also offering specials on their savory hand pies and giving math teachers who show their school ID one free carry-out slice of pie.
