Columbia Township's Fifty West Brewing Co. is expanding its arsenal of outdoor activities with a Cincinnati favorite: cornhole.

This summer, the brewery is launching cornhole leagues, starting June 20. It also hosts a dodgeball tournament, a pickleball league, volleyball, running clubs and more.

"We've got burgers on the grill and plenty of beer, so grab your partner and show us what you got," says Fifty West in a press release.

The cornhole leagues are for teams of two and any gender combination; there are no male-specific or female-specific leagues.

Games are played Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and last six weeks. The cost to join the league is $35 per team. Sign up at fiftywestbrew.com.

Fifty West has also issued an official list of cornhole rules

During regular league play, each team will toss until one of them scores 21 points exactly or it has been 45 minutes. (If you get more than 21 points, you go back to 16 and keep playing.) Teams get three points toward their standing every time they win, and get zero points for a loss. If there's a tie, each team gets one point.

The last two weeks of play are the "tournament round," in which teams will have 30 minutes to get to 16 points.

Cornhole bags, boards and timers will be provided. You have to buy your own beer and burgers.

Fifty West Brewing Co. is located at 7605 Wooster Pike, Columbia Township. More information: fiftywestbrew.com.
