Labor Day is right around the corner, and Over-the-Rhine's Findlay Market is hosting a weekend-long celebration in honor of the holiday, providing a one-stop shop for all of your grill-out needs.
While the market will be closed on the actual holiday, they will be kicking off the long weekend on Friday, Sept. 4, with free samples from ETC Produce and Provisions from noon-2 p.m. at Elaine's Kitchen.
Local brewery Rhinegeist will be flowing through the biergarten, which will be open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday.
And you can enjoy your brew (and bites from the dozens of local vendors and eateries throughout the market) along with some live music from 5-7 p.m. on Friday and noon-2 on Sunday.
In addition to eats, sips and entertainment throughout the weekend, various vendors will be offering specials, and Findlay Market will be offering special picnic bundles and grilling kits that are available via their shopping app.
While the market's selection offers a bounty of options, a few to keep in mind when planning out your holiday weekend grocery list include Colonel De Gourmet Herbs & Spices, Eckerlin Meats, Em’s Bread, Gibbs Cheese, Harmony Plant Fare, Grayson’s Meats & Deli, LK at Findlay Market and ETC Produce and Provisions.
