Taza is now open in the old Buzz Coffee Shop space at the corner of University and Jefferson in Corryville. Along with serving up fair-trade coffee drinks, Taza supports organizations that positively impact the local and global community by offering monthly "Friends On A Mission" mini-grants to groups who need the funds for community service ideas. Amor de Brazil, the Brazilian churrascaria-style steakhouse in Mason (5150 Merten Drive) has added seafood to its menu for a limited time. The restaurant will be serving whole live Maine lobster, a land-and-sea combo, grilled shrimp, herb-crusted salmon and large sea scallops now through Easter (March 23). Claddagh Irish Pub at Newport on the Levee continues its annual Galway Seafood Fest through March 22. Menu items include Toasted Lobster Ravioli, Filet of Sole McDermott, Seafood Newberg, Snapper O'Donovan and Salmon Fish and Chips. St. Patrick's Day will be celebrated throughout the city. The green beer will be flowing freely at O'Bryon's Irish Pub in O'Bryonville Friday-Monday. There will be bagpipes and Irish dancing as well. At Molly Malone's Covington you can celebrate with bands all day, including Roger Drawdy & the Firestarters.
