Sarah Jessica Parker —the all-around badass, Sex and the City star and serial entrepreneur hailing from Cincinnati — has paid a visit to the Queen City to promote the launch of her award-winning wine at Kroger.
Parker recently visited the Kroger on the Rhine location to celebrate the launch of her wine brand Invivo X, SJP's Sauvignon Blanc in 1,173 Kroger locations.
Though Parker was born three hours east in Nelsonville, Ohio, she spent her younger years in Cincinnati, attending Cincinnati's School for Creative and Performing Arts.
The Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc was born out of a collaboration between the Hocus Pocus star and business partners Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron, who founded New Zealand-based Invivo winery in 2006. Parker and the pair launched their collaboration Invivo X, SJP in 2019. Since its launch, 1.5 million bottles of Invivo X, SJP have sold globally, according to a press release. Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc has received three 90+-point ratings from Wine Spectator and was even rated in its "Top 100 Wines of the World."
According to a press release, Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc "is made with grapes grown in the popular Marlborough region in the South Island of New Zealand," and contains a "subtle oak influence and boasts flavors of ripe citrus, tropical fruits and a hint of something savory." The wine is also vegan and sustainably produced.
“It was a real treat to be able to further immerse myself in the winemaking and blending process with my Invivo X, SJP partners Tim and Rob, having just blended our fourth vintage of much-loved Sauvignon Blanc together,” Parker said in a statement. “We are honored to share our enthusiasm for this special wine from Marlborough, New Zealand with wine lovers everywhere, including now in Ohio, which means a great deal to me.”Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc is available at 1,173 Kroger locations across more than 40 states.
