May is National Bike Month and, typically, local Jack Martin helps riders combine their love of biking and beer with a series of Brewvolution brewery rides, going from local brewery to local brewery in a specific part of town.
Jack Martin's Brewvolution Ride series is a staple of #BikeMonth. This year he's sharing routes for DIY solo rides. Don't forget your growler so you can bring some home! https://t.co/mnBE5TivlT

This year, since social distancing is in place, Martin has continued his ride series for the fourth year but in a DIY mode.
"Since Brewvolution! 2020 will not be able to be held in the traditional manner (this would have been year #4!), we're uploading the rides as we did them on Strava. They're not exactly the same, but you are your own boss in this DIY world...You're on your own for brewery openings, etc. We suggest you BYO and find a couple nice places to stop," Martin says in a Facebook event post about Brewvolution ride No. 1 — The Anderson! Ride.
So, if you're ready to work your legs while obtaining some beers to go, check out these four rides (and look in to information about opening times and take-away options from the breweries you're slated to pass):
Ride 1: The Anderson! Ride
This 38.91-mile ride takes you from "Braxton Labs to 3 Points to Bad Tom Smith to Big Ash to Paradise to Dead Low to Wooden Cask," says the event page.
Ride 2: The Healthy! Ride
This 31-mile ride goes from Wiedemann to Brink to Fibonacci to Listermann to Rhinegeist to Taft's Brewpourium.
Ride 3: Over the West Side and Through the R
This ride is 36 miles and according to the event description: "This one starts and ends in Northside virtually across the street from each other, so that if you drive your bike, you'll be close to your vehicle when you end. The ride starts at Urban Artifact to West Side to 13 Below to The Anderson Ferry! to Bircus to Darkness to Sam Adams Tap Room to Humble Monk."
Ride 4: The Eastern Hills! Ride
This 33-mile ride starts at the forthcoming Esoteric Brewing Company in Walnut Hills, then goes to Nine Giant to Firehouse to March First to Fretboard to HighGrain to MadTree to Woodburn.
And here's a bonus fifth ride — The Little Miami River! Ride — which seems to take you by Fifty West, Little Miami Brewing Co. and BrewRiver Creole Kitchen.
