A build-your-own boozy slushie bar based in Liberty is now coming to The Banks.

The Frost Factory opened in Liberty Township in 2020. The new location will be established at the Banks next spring, Frost Factory owners Sammi Wendt and Jamie Robinson recently announced on Facebook.

“We hope you guys are as excited as we are about this new location. Can’t wait to see everyone there! Thank you to all of our followers for all of your continued support as we continue to grow,” they wrote in their post.

Upon opening the Liberty location, Wendt and Robinson told CityBeat that Frost Factory was inspired by a trip to a restaurant that mixed tequila with a slushie. Robinson pitched the idea to Wendt, who said she wanted to take it to the next level and make slushies in-house.

The Liberty Center location offers tons of slushie flavors, including strawberry watermelon, orange dream and rootbeer float, and are all made from scratch using secret fruit puree recipes and fresh ingredients. You can customize your drink by layering different slushies on top of each other.

The amount of shots in a slushie varies depending on its size. There are 12-ounce, 20-ounce slushies and 40-ounce fishbowl options, which hold one, two and three shots respectively. You can also get a half-gallon bucket of slush that holds six shots. Additionally, non-alcoholic slushies are available\. And if you can’t decide which slush you want to try, Frost Factory offers a three-flavor flight.

Fall flavors are coming soon. Check out The Frost Factory’s Facebook page for updates.
