There's a "National Day" for everything it seems but, hey, we aren't complaining. Any day that brings us prime beef on the cheap is a good day in our book.
Morton's The Steakhouse, located in Carew Tower, is celebrating National Filet Mignon Day (Aug. 13) with $1 petite filet sandwiches from 5-10 p.m. at the bar.
“Every year, we look forward to celebrating National Filet Day with our loyal guests at over sixty locations across the country,” said Tim Whitlock, senior vice president of operations, in a press release. “We invite our diners to enjoy the special discount and share the experience with family and friends.”
The upscale steakhouse chain first opened in 1978 in Chicago and strives to offer their guests "the best steak… anywhere.”
5-10 p.m. Aug. 13. Morton's The Steakhouse, 441 Vine St., Suite 1H, mortons.com.
