On Sunday, March 15, Gov. Mike DeWine issued an order to close all Ohio bars and restaurants to sit-down service, and on Monday, March 16, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear issued a similar order. All of this is to stem the spread of COVID-19.
And while you can't dine or drink inside of a bar or restaurant, they are allowed — and encouraged — to offer delivery and carry-out.
Here are some of the bars, restaurants and bottle shops offering various alcohol carry-out and delivery services because sometimes you just need a glass of wine.

Cork N’ Bottle — This liquor store is offering ordering by phone at 859-261-8333. They will ready the order and deliver it curbside to your car. If you want actual delivery, they are also offering that within a limited radius of the store for a $100 minimum (plus delivery fee). Dead Low Brewing — Offering carry-out and delivery, including growlers to go. 5959 Kellogg Ave., California.
Fibonacci Brewing Co. — Want beer? No fear, Fibonacci is here. The brewery says on their Facebook page, “We will be open 7 days a week from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for online orders for drive thru, carry-out, and delivery. We will be servicing ALL of Hamilton County and 45014 in Butler County.” 1445 Compton Road, Mount Healthy.
HighGrain Brewing — This Silverton brewery and restaurant is open for carry-out and call-ahead orders via 513-791-7000. Within the next 24 hours, they also hope to implement an online order system on their website. Current hours are noon-7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday with an updated food menu. HighGrain also says that crowler delivery and deliveries of Joey & Heaven’s Acer four-packs are available. Grubhub delivery is slated to begin in a week. 6860 Plainfield Road, Silverton.
The Hub — The Hub will offer carry-out beer and cigarettes. 1209 Main St., Over-the-Rhine.
Jerry’s Jug House — According to its Facebook page, “In 1934, the jug house opened as a carry-out.... We’re still a carry-out...with a wide variety of can/bottled beer, growlers of our draft beer, a variety of wines, and liquor for carry out. Joe’s Pizza Napoli — Joe’s Pizza Napoli will be open for carry-out beginning 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. The restaurant will offer their wood-fired pizzas, salads, appetizers, wine, beer and sodas. Place your order at 513-248-0082. 507 Chamber Drive, Milford.
Karrikin Spirits Company — Karrikin will offer both carry-out and delivery for their food menu, spirits, sparkling spirits and craft beer. Find their menu online and place your order at 513-561-5000. 3717 Jonlen Drive, Fairfax.
The Listing Loon — The Listing Loon bar and bottleshop in Northside is offering carry-out 3-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday. 4124 Hamilton Ave., Northside.
MadTree Brewing — MadTree Brewing’s taproom is temporarily closed, but carry-out beer will be available as well as pizza from Catch-A-Fire Pizza located within the brewery. Orders can be made online and will be available from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily. “While our taproom will be closed for the foreseeable future, we will be coming up with additional ways to connect with you and help our community stay healthy, in mind and body. We urge you to support your local bars and restaurants in ways you feel comfortable and appropriate – specifically the staff at these establishments, including ours. MOTR Pub — Offering carry-out — burgers, fries, chili tots, BLTs and beer — delivery through 53T Courier. MOTR is also offering free branded growlers with every fill. Call 513-381-6687. 1345 Main St., Over-the-Rhine.
Nine Giant — The brewery and restaurant says, ”We are offering carry-out orders of our award-winning upscale bar food from 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. We are also selling our hand-crafted beer in growlers. Orders can be placed in person at the brewpub or by phone at 513-366-4550. We are implementing online ordering early this week. The Party Source — The Party Source is accepting online orders for in-store and curbside pick-up, as well as “local KY delivery.” For curbside pick-up, call 859-291-4007 or text 859-652-0169 upon arrival. Let them know your order name, where you’re parked, color and make of car and they will bring out your order. 95 Riviera Drive, Bellevue.
Revel OTR — Revel is offering Revel wine to go via carry-out or delivery. Wines included are Black Sheep Blanc, Malbec, Sangiovese, Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon. Shipping is available in Ohio only. They say, “Fill out our online form, we contact you to confirm order, send a link for payment (credit card and PayPal accepted), then schedule a time for pick up or delivery.” 111 E. 12th St., Over-the-Rhine.
The Rhined/Oakley Wines — The Rhined and Oakley Wines are consolidating into one shop at The Rhined in Findlay Market. An online shop will be going live Tuesday, March 17, according to their Instagram posts, and all inventory will be available for curbside pick-up and delivery (at The Rhined). That’s wine and cheese, y'all. 1737 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.
Rhinegeist — The brewery is offering curbside pick-up. According to their Instagram, "Folks can place an order through our online shop, drive up to our curb just outside the Sartre/OTR Chili space (immediately South of the streetcar stop on Elm Street), and a team member will bring your beer down so you can pick up without leaving your car." The Skeleton Root — The Over-the-Rhine winery is offering both pick-up by appointment and delivery within 25 miles of the winery with a $50 delivery minimum. Fill out an order form here for delivery. 38 W. McMicken Ave., Over-the-Rhine.
Streetside Brewery — On its social media, Streetside says, “Streetside Brewery will remain open daily from 3-8 p.m. for carry-out orders. We will offer a drive-through option with details coming (Monday, March 16)! The best way to support small businesses in the area is to go out and grab carry out, gift cards, and merchandise. We will re-evaluate daily as we get more information and promise to keep you all updated! Street Chef Brigade will remain open daily at 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.” 4003 Eastern Ave., Columbia Tusculum.
Taft's Ale House — Carry-out, delivery (Uber Eats, 53T Courier) and gift cards. Offering food, beer, wine and growler/howler fills (in their containers). 1429 Race St., Over-the-Rhine.
Taglio — In an Instagram post, Taglio has announced, "Friends: starting tomorrow (3/16) we will be open normal hours for carry out and delivery ONLY. We will be implementing new carry out and delivery procedures to ensure a contact free transaction for our staff and customers." Via Vite and Forno Osteria — These Italian eateries are offering carry-out and curbside pick-up at all of their locations. They are also creating a special half-pan of their five-layer lasagna for $60. The restaurant says this will feed a family of 8 to 10. All wine will also be marked down to the state minimum (they can suggest a pairing over the phone or you can view their wine lists online). Wiedemann Brewery & Taproom — The Saint Bernard taproom is offering carry-out and drive-thru starting Tuesday, March 17. "Drive-thru carryout service (is) available for our full food and beer menus," says brewery co-owner Jon Newberry in an email. "We have 16 beers available to go in 64 oz. growlers, six packs of cans and half-liter mini-growlers. Burgers, wings, salads, apps. Hours for now are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Customers can access the drive-thru via our rear driveway off Bank/McClelland Ave. then up the north side of the building.
