Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week takes over area eateries from April 8-14 with $26 and $36 prix fixe specialty menus.

The chef-driven dinners (and sometimes lunches) offer diners a chance to sample multi-course meals at a reduced rate from restaurants they might not typically frequent — or be able to afford.

Current participating restaurants include:

  • Alfio's Buon Cibo
  • Butcher & Barrel
  • Coppin's at Hotel Covington
  • Jag's Steak & Seafood
  • Montgomery Inn
  • Taste of Belgium
  • Nicola's
  • Ruth's Chris Steak House
  • The Capital Grille
  • Overlook Kitchen + Bar
  • and more

This spring, Restaurant Week (an event put on by CityBeat) has also partnered with Cincinnati Children's to give back $1 from every meal served and to match the first $1,000 raised.

“As a father of four myself, I have personally experienced the amazing care and unparalleled compassion that Cincinnati Children’s brings to families at their moment of greatest need,"  says Restaurant Week Organizer andCityBeatpublisher Tony Frank in a press release. "To partner in a way that advances Cincinnati Children’s ability to serve and to extend the reach to those very families, brings us and our restaurant partners a great deal of pride.”

Jane Hollenbeck, donor relations officer at Cincinnati Children's echoed that sentiment in the same release, saying, "Participating in Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week is a fun and delicious way to support the patients and families who turn to Cincinnati Children’s for care. We are grateful that our community continues to give back in exciting and creative ways like this.”
