Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week's Meet The Chefs Event Returns to Fueled Collective

Try tasty samples from participating GCRW restaurants, enjoy Maker's Mark cocktail pairings and participate in a Q&A with local chefs

Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week returns Sept. 23-29, and to kick-off the week-long event, CityBeat is hosting our annual Meet the Chefs party, inviting guests to meet several of the local chefs whose restaurants are participating in GCRW and to try some tasty samples.

The celebration takes place on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Rookwood's Fueled Collective and offers guests a sneak-peek tasting of what a few local restaurants may be serving up during GCRW. Along with bites, there will be cocktail samples crafted with GCRW sponsor Maker's Mark, plus guests will take home a Maker's Mark glass hand-dipped in the distillery's signature red wax. Tickets to the event cost $15

Participating chefs include Dave Bever from The View at Shires’ Garden, Shawn Heine from Prime Cincinnati and Jack Hemmer from Nicola’s Restaurant.

In addition to treats, a Q&A will be held, hosted by WWE Ring Announcer Greg Hamilton, giving guests the opportunity to ask the chefs about their inspiration, favorite dishes, bourbon recipes and go-to comfort meals.
