Every day is a good day to eat macarons, but the French confection is so beloved that 13 local bakeries have coordinated to celebrate macarons across the city on Saturday.

Macaron Day Cincinnati is not only about devouring an assortment of the delicious meringue cookie sandwiches (even though that’s what we’re really most excited about), as a portion of all proceeds will benefit the Freestore Foodbank.

Participating bakeries include The BonBonerie, Buona Terra, Gigi’s Cupcakes of Kenwood, Macaron Bar locations (naturally), Nordstrom’s Ebar, Sweet Petit Desserts, a handful of Taste of Belgium locations and Tres Belle Cakes.

Save some room for dinner, it’d set a dangerous precedent if you eat nothing but macarons all day.

9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday (March 23). Prices and locations vary, macaron-day.com.
