Madisonville's forthcoming Element Eatery food hall has just announced its first three tenants.

Locals MashRoots, Taco Oso and Four Mile Pig are the spot's first "chef partners," according to a release.

Element Eatery — slated to open in September — will eventually host eight culinary options in its 34,500-square-foot space at 5350 Medpace Way. It will act as another anchor in the developing Madison Square area around the Medpace campus, which also includes high-end restaurant Alara and bar Placebo.

“We are thrilled to have all three of these small businesses on board. They each bring a unique food experience so everyone can find something to crave," Tyler Troendle, managing director of Element Eatery's development group AT Hospitality LLC, says in a release.

MashRoots, a former pop-up that opened a brick-and-mortar in College Hill, specializes in Latin American cuisine, specifically Puerto Rican mofongo. Patrons will be able to build their own mofongo bowls using a base of fried plantains, or opt for dishes like a smashburger or empanadas.

Taco Oso, a local food truck, will be offering its unique taco and nacho dishes, like chicken pibil tacos and barbacoa nachos.

And Northern Kentucky barbecue joint Four Mile Pig will offer their patented barbecue options in addition to cheeseburgers and Chicago-style Italian beef sandwiches.

“The food scene in Cincinnati is as strong as it is in Chicago or Los Angeles. We’re really looking forward to opening a kitchen in Element Eatery,” says Robert Viox, owner of Four Mile Pig, in the release.

In addition to the dining options, Element Eatery will include seating for 400 inside, more than 150 people on three different outdoor terraces and will include a 48-tap beer garden.
