Unfortunately, plenty of kids in the Cincinnati area find themselves facing a meal gap — that is, times when there isn't enough food available to them at home. Free and reduced meals offered via Cincinnati Public Schools help fill that gap during the school year, but what happens when school is out for the summer?

Several organizations are stepping in to fill that need via the federal Summer Food Service Program for Children. As CityBeat reported last week, those include CPS and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. (You can find a list of all the CPS/PLCHC locations offering meals for kids here.)  Those meals will be provided to anyone 18 and under until Aug. 2 at CPS sites and until Aug. 16 at Library sites. Meals will also be available to those with physical and mental disabilities up to age 21.

But another organization, Whole Again, is also offering the meals via SFSP at a number of locations around Hamilton and Butler County. Below is a full list of the locations where they will be providing free breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Click here for the original Excel spreadsheet.
