Spring is on its way, which means we're very close to ice-cream-munchin-on-patios season (aka the best season), which includes Northside's hotspot for sweet frosty treats, Dojo Gelato.
The gelato shop has announced its opening date for the season, which you can look forward to on Thursday, April 1. The creamery has confirmed via its event page that this is no April Fools' Day joke.
Dojo Gelato will begin scoopin' gelato at 1:30 p.m. The space offers a spacious patio to enjoy your dessert upon.
The Northside location, which opened in 2017, began hosting "BAKED Pop-Ups" last year, featuring baked goods made by baker Doug Faulkner like biscuit sandwiches, assorted pastries, sweet and savory scones and more. They will host their first pop-up of the season on April 4.
If you can't wait until April first to get your Italian-style ice cream fix, the shop's original location at Findlay Market is open all season long.
