Cincinnati's East Side is about to get a little bit sweeter. Oliver's Desserts is hosting the grand opening of its bakery on Aug. 24 with a day full of cookie decorating, a raffle and prize wheel for free and discounted goodies, face painting and plenty of tasty treats to consume.

The bakery has been in the business of producing almost-too-beautiful-to-eat treats since 2016, when owner/baker Ashley Rapp decided to turn her passion into her full-time gig. Since hiring on a small staff of bakers, pastry chefs, coordinators and illustrators, the team has seen rapid growth and is ready to expand with a storefront.

Oliver's Desserts focuses on made-from-scratch baked goods including cakes, brownies, pies, macarons, cookies and more. The bakery also caters to a wide variety of sweet-lovers, offering gluten-free, vegan and keto goodies in addition to their traditional treats.

The new space, located at 834 Ohio Pike Suite 122 in Withamsville, will offer seating for guests and workspace as well as an event space.

The grand opening will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 24. Oliver's Desserts, 834 Ohio Pike Suite 122, Withamsville, oliversdesserts.com.
