Now that we've all gotten used to more al fresco dining options thanks to the pandemic, many of us want to continue to dine outside — even when the temperature drops.
And many Greater Cincinnati bars and restaurants have added heaters, fire pits and igloos to keep customers warm, including Catch-a-Fire Pizza in Blue Ash.
The pizza joint debuted outdoor dining igloos last winter and they were hit, so they're back again.
Catch-a-Fire says the igloos can fit up to six people each for a private — and cozy — dining experience. They also have three smaller igloos available for couples.
"The igloos give us a fun way to keep some excitement going throughout the winter season. We are able to offer a unique experience and service for our guests to get out and celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, the holidays and date nights," owners Melissa and Jeff Ledford say in a release.
Each igloo is heated and thematically decorated, and includes a bluetooth speaker to play music. Full service and the restaurant's full menu are available in each pod, along with a special themed menu of treats including s'mores dip, crema bruciata, hot chocolate and hot apple cider.
