Chili lovers, rejoice! Over-the-Rhine's Findlay Market is hosting a festival devoted to all things chili this winter — both the hearty soup (stew? meat water?) and the variety of peppers.

The Gold Star-sponsored fest will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, and will feature chili-centric bites from nearly two dozen vendors across the market.

Guests can purchase 5 sample tickets for $10 or 12 samples for $20 to get a taste of some creative and classic chili creations.

Some stand-out stops to try during your chili trek include Pho Lang Thang's Lang Thang Chili, Cherbourg Cypress' ricotta cornbread with jalapeno, Maverick Chocolate Co.'s Fahrenheit 513 hot chocolate, Goose & Elder's pork chili verde and Harmony Plant Fare's Cincy-style hummus grilled cheese. See the full list of vendors and their offerings here.

"Spend the day sampling chili and chili-themed items from our merchants around the market while listening to music and enjoying a hot or cold beverage," the event page reads.

This year's chili cook-off competition has been canceled for obvious COVID safety reasons, but will be back next year.

Tickets are available for purchase online.
