The sweet summer season has come to an and, but the al fresco Outpost at Over-the-Rhine's HomeMakers Bar is still open — and all cozied up for some fall fun.
Over the summer, HomeMakers transformed the space behind their bar into their own outdoor drinking and dining destination — the Outpost, with a vintage Airstream trailer bar and a string-lit garden patio, and teamed up with Cincinnati Music Accelerator for entertainment.
But the vintage Airstream has packed up and moved back home, and HomeMakers has welcomed a different kind of bev bar on wheels, via a collab with Fifty West Brewery's WV beer bus. The patio is sporting a new autumnal look for the new season, thanks to the Art Academy and Urban Sites, in addition to fall cocktails and comforting new menu additions. In a press release, the HomeMakers crew tells guests to expect some exciting pop-ups with other Queen City makers.
Looking towards the holiday season, HomeMakers is in the process of compiling recipes for a "HomeMakers Guide to Entertaining," which they will introduce a few of their top holiday cocktail recipes and are asking guests to submit their go-to favorite dip recipes.
"Have a go-to-never-fail-dip recipe you make for every get together? Submit your recipe starting October 19th and get a chance to be featured in our Guide to Entertaining and get automatically entered in our Dip Off," the press release reads.
The Dip Off winner will receive a holiday price basket and their recipe will featured on HomeMakers holiday menu.
