Over-the-Rhine's Longfellow is reopening for carry-out this weekend to bring the folks of the Queen City a delicious hint of hope during these trying times.

Open 5-9 p.m. on Friday (July 17) and 4-9 p.m. on Saturday (July 18), the bar is offering a menu of bites and booze.

There are two specials available this weekend: a vegan "Sloppy Casey" sandwich and a beer-cooked roast beef sandwich with beer cheese and Horsey sauce — in addition to other menu options like the scrap sandwich, chips and dip and carrot salad. To wash it down, they have cocktails for two, including their popular Shisho Painkiller and Spruce Goose, plus wine and cheap beer ($3-$4).

They're also offering $1 off when you return your cocktail jars to the bar.

You can place your order over the phone by calling 513-252-2103 or 513-307-4379, or walking up and ordering at the window.

"We miss you. We’re all in this together. If wearing a mask impedes on your freedoms then imagine the freedoms your cough could revoke from others. Hope to see you soon!!" the Facebook post reads.

Longfellow is located at 1233 Clay St. in Over-the-Rhine.
