Lost & Found OTR's Booze Box

Over-the-Rhine bar Lost & Found celebrates its one-year anniversary this month, and while the kind of party you'd typically expect for this sort of affair is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, they've got some creative ideas up their sleeves to continue serving and connecting with their community.

After releasing some teasers leading up to the big reveal, Lost & Found announced their new Booze Boxes, which will offer a way for their loyal patrons to enjoy their craft cocktails, bites, art and groovy jams from the comfort of their own homes.

The boxes, which will be available beginning this weekend, come in three different options — all priced at $59 — and include 3 or 4 two-serving pre-mixed cocktails, a paired snack, a Lost & Found zine with curated playlist and cocktail commentary and plenty of funky stickers.

"Not only is this about delicious drinks but it is also about the growing evolution of how we traditionally interact with bars," Lost & Found explains on their website.

"While we know it is safe to some extent to venture out and drink in a socially distant/responsible way, we understand why you wouldn't want to leave the comfort of your home when you can have the bar come to you. Because of this, we have distilled the Lost & Found experience into a set of curiously curated cocktail boxes that you can enjoy at home."

The Monster Box comes with an array of savory cocktails, including the Betelguese, made with gin, dill, beets, dijon and lemon; the Bloody Maria, made with tequila, heirloom tomato, summer peppers, sherry vinegar and oregano; and the Sister Hyde, made with vodka, cucumber, local green pepper, parsley, green chartreuse and lime.

The Old Fashioned is equipped with four different Old Fashioned-inspired cocktails, including the Classic, made with bourbon, Demerara and Angostura bitters; the Jalisco, made with reposado tequila, agave, orange and Angostura bitters; the Oaxacan, made with mezcal, agave, mole and orange bitters; and the Caribbean, made with aged rum, Maggie's Farm falernum and Demerara.

And last but not least, the berry cocktail-themed Jam Box, which includes the Fire on the Mountain, made with mezcal, Michigan raspberry, serrano pepper, berto blanc and lemon; the Soulshine, made with gin, Michigan black raspberry, mint, lemon, angostura and Topo Chico; and the Life of Illusion, made with white rum, local strawberry, yellow chartreuse and lime.

The boxes are available via carry-out or delivery through 53T Courier (to nearby Over-the-Rhine neighborhoods including Prospect Hill, West End, The Banks and downtown).

According to the website, they stay good for up to a week, but are best when consumed as soon as received.

Visit their website for more information pertaining to pick-up/delivery times.

In addition to the Booze Boxes, the bar's patio and a portion of the indoor space is open for sips and bites, or you can order from their food and drink menu for pick-up or delivery

Lost & Found is located at 22 E. 14th St. in Over-the-Rhine.
