Over-the-Rhine's Please is starting something new: brunch service. And it's not your typical toast and eggs.
Sunday brunch kicks off June 9 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and will feature a menu that includes options like West Coast oysters with rhubarb mignonette; steam eggs with soy marinated shiitakes and "crispy things;" and "breakfast" pasta with rye gnocchi sardi, kale, chile, parm and egg yolk. Prices range from $5 to $18. (You can see a full menu on Instagram.)
And like any good brunch service, the booze offerings are lengthy and include wine, beer and specialty cocktails like their delicious Christina: rosé, Aperol, pamplemousse, grapefruit and lime.
According to a post on Instagram, Please will be adding additional brunch dishes as they get into the swing of things.
Note: For fans of chef Ryan Santos' fried chicken (and tofu) and rosé day, that has been moved to Saturday (noon-2:30 p.m.)
