Over-the-Rhine's Queen City Radio — and its bustling beer garden — have become a very special part of the Queen City since its inception. And to celebrate its five fun-filled years since opening, the bar is hosting a five-day-long fifth anniversary party, with different themes each day.
The party kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 15 with anniversary edition live trivia with Justin Schafer of The Approximate Knowledge Institute of Cincinnati.
The bar will transform into the QCR Carnival on Sept. 16, boasting balloon animals, magic, a dunk tank, face painting, live music from Jess Lamb and the Factory and more.
On Sept. 17, QCR is celebrating their own Oktoberfest complete with special brews, live music from Bavarian band Bill Klaber & The Bergstrasse Boys and German eats from Lubecker.
FC Cincinnati's home game takes place on Sept. 18 and QCR will be hot spot for pre-gaming or post-gaming (or hanging out during the game).
On Sunday, Sept. 19 — the last day of the five-day celebration — QCR will host "Casey Coston's Cassette Tape Parking Lot," essentially a DJ set using cassettes.
Throughout the duration of the multi-day event, QCR will have raffles available to join with prizes from across the city.
