Revolution Rotisserie has permanently closed its eatery in Over-the-Rhine, but the store owner promises a new concept will open in the space following renovations.

Revolution Rotisserie’s location in Pleasant Ridge will also remain open.

The OTR store’s closure is due to the several challenges that the team has dealt with this year, according to a Facebook post from Revolution Rotisserie owner Nick Pesola. The homestyle-cooking restaurant has operated in Over-the-Rhine for six years, and Pesola claims the time has created many fond memories between staff and customers alike.

It’s been an incredible ride and we have learned so many lessons along the way,” Pesola writes in the post.

Pesola encourages patrons to visit Revolution Rotisserie’s location in Pleasant Ridge, which is approximately eight miles from the recently-closed Race Street location. Pleasant Ridge’s space is larger and can accommodate more patrons for in-person dining.

Pesola also teases the opening of a brand new concept that will fill the OTR space after the storefront undergoes renovations.

“Needless to say, the best is yet to come,” Pesola concludes in his post.
