Rhinegeist hosts the brewery's fifth annual Dad Day on Dec. 7. From noon-6 p.m., wear plaid and bring your dad to the brewery to enjoy the release of Dad, a hoppy holiday ale.
Rhinegeist says, "Stop in and have a Dad on Dad Day with your Dad while you dance awkwardly to bygone boogies and learn a liquid lesson from our hoppy Holiday Ale."
There will also be a DJ and special family photo ops in the Annex. The event is free to attend, but for $30 you have the option of taking a family photo, receiving an ornament and getting a pint of beer. Make a reservation to get your photo taken (and take home print) here.
And if you can't make it to the event, but still want to celebrate the hoppy Dad ale, Rhinegeist partnered with chef Dan Wright to create this Dad-braised beef short ribs recipe. All you need are some short ribs, spices, veggies, two cans of Dad and some culinary skills.
