The second annual 12th Street Shuffle is back on Sept. 7 for another year of great beer and giving back.
The crawl spans from Pendleton to Over-the-Rhine with 12 participating bars including 3 Points Urban Brewery, Nation Kitchen and Bar, Boomtown Biscuits & Whiskey, Lucius Q, Rosedale OTR, Treehouse Patio Bar, Rhinehaus, HalfCut, The Drinkery, Aladdin’s Eatery, Wiseguy Lounge and Cobblestone OTR.
All ticket proceeds from the event go toward local nonprofit Give Back Cincinnati, which benefits the Greater Cincinnati community.
“As an organization founded on building relationships by giving back to the Greater Cincinnati community, we are thankful for each of the breweries, bars and restaurants partnering with us for this event,” said Give Back Cincinnati president Michael Loch in a press release.
Tickets cost $12, and beers from the participating breweries — 3 Points Urban Brewery, MadTree, Streetside and West Side Brewing — will cost $4 at each 12th Street Shuffle bar.
“With our entrance into the Cincinnati area two years ago, it’s been important to us to establish a sense of community and social responsibility,” said West Side Brewing director of sales Zach Heeney. “We want to give Cincinnatians the chance to not only learn more about the bars and restaurants from Pendleton to OTR, but also a chance to spread the love to an organization working to maintain and build Cincinnati’s communities into the future.”
The crawl kicks off at Pendleton's 3 Points Urban Brewery with a free beer from the taproom. Guests will also receive a commemorative beer mug and raffle entry to win a one-night stay at downtown's 21c Museum Hotel or a $250 gift card to Richter & Phillips Jewelers.
12th Street Shuffle takes place noon-7 p.m. Sept. 7. Check in at 3 Points Urban Brewery, 331 E 13th St., Pendleton.
