You can soon pair your pool day at Ziegler Park with tacos as Over-the-Rhine’s newest restaurant prepares to open its doors this week.

Yoli’s, located at 213 Woodward St. in 3CDC and Model Group’s Willkommen project, will offer customizable tacos, burritos and salads with rotating proteins, as well as cocktails, margaritas and a selection of beer and wine. The concept comes from the duo behind Liberty’s Bar & Bottle and The Pony, Garth Lieb and Tom Stephen.

“We love that it’s across the street from the pool and in the park, yet still seems part of Main Street,” Lieb said in a press release. “We’re excited to bring another top-quality casual drinking and dining option to the Main Street entertainment district – an area we’ve come to know and love since we opened Liberty’s in 2014.”

The group says Yoli’s proximity to Ziegler Park makes it an ideal stop for pool-goers, and during pool season, they’ll be open early to offer coffee, breakfast burritos and other grab-and-go food.

The Drawing Department, the architecture and design firm behind Bocca, Sotto and Ghost Baby, designed Yoli’s space. The interior is colorful and meant to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The horseshoe bar offers 15 seats and is surrounded by table seating. Outside, guests can make use of two patios: one for dining and another for shuffleboard and other outdoor activities.

“We’re really focused on activating Main Street with new businesses and providing programming at the Ziegler Park expansion, so we feel like Yoli’s is the ideal concept for this location,” Lindzie Gunnels, commercial leasing manager with 3CDC, said in the release. “We believe Yoli’s is going to add to the energy and excitement in this area and will be a great amenity for visitors to Ziegler Park and Pool, as well as those spending time on Main Street.”

Yoli’s will hold its grand opening from 4-11 p.m. Thursday, which will be followed by its regular operating hours of Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
