Rhinegeist and Esoteric Brewing are teaming up to create a beer that will benefit Cincinnati-based nonprofit MORTAR.
"Harmony" is a red rye IPA that the breweries say in a release was created to "celebrate Black History Month and Women’s History Month."
Each taproom will hold talks hosted by MORTAR, which "provides resources to entrepreneurs building small businesses in their communities since 2014."
“Harmony is a testament to the thread of solidarity and positive growth running through the city that both of our breweries call home,” says Rhinegeist director of marketing Tracey Ireland. “We’re really excited to work with Esoteric Brewing on our first truly collab! They say that 'a rising tide raises all boats,’ and we truly believe this — if it’s good for one Cincinnati brewery, it’s good for all of us!”
The beer collaboration will be available in both Esoteric's and Rhinegeist's taprooms starting Feb. 22. A dollar from each pint sold will benefit MORTAR.Rhinegiest is located at 1910 Elm St. in Over-the-Rhine. Esoteric Brewing is located at 918 E. McMillan St. in Walnut Hills.
