Have you ever wanted to do yoga with dwarf goats? Well, on Feb. 24, Rivertown will host two morning sessions with Yogoat.
Yogoat is a Cincy startup that provides dwarf goats for yoga sessions. As the company explains, "Goat yoga is a great way to reduce stress and have fun in one’s yoga practice. Goats have a bubbly demeanor that will instantaneously put a smile on one’s face, as they are not scared to climb, snuggle or downward dog."
During the yoga classes at Rivertown, there will be nine dwarf goats — in costume — and a puppy! Why a puppy? Why not? There will be two 45-minute classes (one at 10 a.m. and one at 11 a.m.) with goats roaming freely among the mats. Rivertown claims that goat yoga can increase happiness, decrease blood pressure and positively impact the immune system.
Each Yogoat attendee also gets two after-session Rivertown beers (or a flight), a signature pint glass, an empty growler, a Yogoat pen and entry into a Yogoat duffel bag drawing. Bring your yoga mat, water and a cell phone for selfies.
