This year marks Morton The Steakhouse's 30th anniversary. The company will celebrate by partnering with the Make A Wish Foundation in its ¨30 Wishes for 30 Years" national campaign in order to raise at least $250,000 the largest charitable initiative in the company's history. Funds raised through the Morton's events will make it possible to grant the wishes of 30 children who are living with life-threatening medical conditions. Reserve Restaurant and Piano Lounge is serving lunch everyday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The extensive lunch menu will feature items such as prime rib sandwich, salmon salad and their famous flatbreads. Live entertainment will also be offered each day from noon-1:30 p.m. ... There will be a beer dinner at Latitude's (7426 Beechmont Ave., Anderson) 6 p.m. Tuesday. The dinner will feature Magic Hat's spring varieties from Pandora's Box with the #9 ale, Circus Boy, hIPA and Odd Notion matched with a complimentary tapas-styled menu made of crab legs, ahi tuna and short barbecue ribs along with Latitude's newly launched pasta bar featuring pasta made right in front of diners. Prices are yet to be determined, but reservations should be made ahead of time at 513-233-9888.

Whole Foods Market (5805 Deerfield Blvd., Mason) is celebrating Earth Day April 12 from noon-3 p.m. with a day of special events and giveaways. Events include Composting and Green Gardening with Marvin's Organic Gardens, an Environmental Fair including Warren County Soil & Water, The Sierra Club Miami Group and the City of Mason Parks and Recreation Department. There will also be a storewide sampling featuring locally grown and sustainable items. The event is free and open to the public. Bar Louie (Newport on the Levee) is holding ¨Rock the Tot 2008" April 17 at 7 p.m. Contestants in the tater tot eating contest will have six minutes to eat as many tots as possible in order to be declared the local champion. At the end of all the local competitions a competitor will be declared the nationwide winner after all of the local results have been verified and tallied. ... The first area Second Sunday Antiques Marketplace takes place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 13 on Sixth Street in MainStrasse Village, Covington. Bean Haus (Sixth and Main streets) will be on hand at this and every Second Sunday event to provide coffee, sodasand snacks from 7 a.m. to close. ... The Oyster Festival at Washington Platform Saloon and Restaurant (1000 Elm St., Downtown, 513-421-0110) is in full swing. The four-week celebration features a special menu featuring more than 30 preparations of oysters: different kinds of oysters on the half-shell; sample smoked oyster salad; oysters Mardi Gras; oyster pot pie and more. The festival runs through April 26 with a special six-course wine and oyster sampling dinner, Cork "N Shells, April 24 (reservations required).
