Star Wars-Themed Pop-Up Bar Galactic Cantina Landing in Over-the-Rhine

This den of scum and villainy will be open to travelers and bounty hunters beginning Thursday.

Galactic Cantina will land in our galaxy this week.

Attention intergalactic bounty hunters: There will be a new Star Wars-themed pop-up bar landing in Over-the-Rhine this week.

A den of scum and villainy, Galactic Cantina will set up shop behind the Cosmic Gorilla comic shop near Findlay Market. Gorilla Cinemas, the pop-up host, says it’s the premier spot in the galaxy to refuel with unique libations and snacks – plus replenish your supplies, consult star maps for the best trade routes and wager your ship in a heated card game.

“This other-worldly watering hole provides all the opportunities to post-up, drink well, and plot your next reward. Tune up your Droid and move quickly though, because like a fluctuating hologram, the signal will only remain strong for a limited time,” Gorilla Cinemas said in a press release.

Galactic Cantina opens Thursday, April 13. It’ll be open Wednesday through Monday, with hours of 4-10 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Travelers under 21 are welcome with an adult (or a Wookie) until 9 p.m.
