The first tenant of Madisonville's upcoming food hall has been revealed.

Taft's Brewing Co. has been named as an anchor for Element Eatery, the new name for the 34,500 square-foot facility that is scheduled to open in Madisonville in August.

According to a release, Taft's will oversee a 48-tap beer garden in the food hall.

"We are incredibly excited to continue our brewing excellence on-site at Element Eatery," Dave Kassling, managing partner at Taft's Brewing Company, says in a release. "Taft's has become a local favorite through our historic Taft’s Ale House and Brewpourium locations, and we look forward to bringing our hospitality and more than a dozen rotating brews to a new exciting and fun space."

Element Eatery will be part of the Madison Square development located at Red Bank Expressway and Madison Road. The facility will feature 11 food experiences, 400 indoor seats, and 200 outdoor seats on three terraces, the release says. Facility leaders continue to explore partnerships with chefs and restaurant options.
