The Baker's Table in Newport Launches Take-and-Bake Pizza Program

The handcrafted crust is 100% sourdough and you can either get it as a pepperoni or Margherita pizza.

Pizza lovers, rejoice! The popular Newport restaurant The Baker’s Table is launching a new Take & Bake Pizza program.

“You asked, they listened – The Baker’s Table has recently started a new Take & Bake Pizza program!” the restaurant said in a press release. “Now you can enjoy the warm aromas and a fresh taste of your favorite Italian pizzeria right in your own home.”

The take-and-bake pizzas are available to pick up from The Baker’s Table’s bakery across the street on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m. You do need to preorder your pizza ahead of time.

The pizzas feature The Baker’s Table’s handcrafted sourdough crust, which is whole grain and naturally fermented, plus hand-stretched and sprinkled with fresh herbs. You can either get a Margherita pizza for $17 or a pepperoni for $20. Take-and-bake pizzas are cooked to 80%; all you have to do is put it in the oven for eight to 10 minutes at 450 degrees to reheat.

You order your food at a window at the back of the restaurant and the entire restaurant functions separately from there.
