Cincinnati’s Food Fight series pits chefs, home cooks, culinary enthusiasts and humans with knife skills against each other in a battle to see who is the best chef.
Bring a potluck dish to share and enter your name to be a cook or judge — if you want.
If you don’t want to compete (or judge), just hang out and watch the action unfold. In Food Fight 15, current champion Eric Polhamus — of the now-defunct La Petite Pierre — will go head to head with five other people in two rounds of three and three.
The winner of each round will then compete in a third round and the winner of that round will be crowned the Food Fight champion. Half of the door proceeds will go to benefit 1n5.org, a local nonprofit that works to increase awareness of mental health and mental health issues.
6 p.m. doors; have your name in by 7:15 p.m. to judge or fight Feb. 4. $10. Karrikin Spirits Co., 3717 Jonlen Drive, Fairfax, facebook.com/foodfight513.
