If you've been on the edge of your seat wondering what magical mystery flavor Graeter's is going to reveal for 2019, the wait is over.

And the flavor is: Maple Cinnamon Crunch.

The new sweet selection is a collaboration with local Taste of Belgium and features maple-flavored ice cream and cinnamon-sugar-coated shortbread pieces.

In addition to the ice cream, fans can get this same dessert-for-breakfast flavor as a special dish at Taste of Belgium locations through March via the eatery's Maple Cinnamon Crunch waffle.

The new ice cream flavor was developed over a two-week test period during the summer of 2018.

“Our annual Mystery Flavor unveil is a favorite time of year for all of us at Graeter’s,” said Chip Graeter in a press release. “This year’s flavor is exceptional, and we’re really excited to bring it back into scoop shops throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Chicago and Pittsburgh. This year’s collaboration between Taste of Belgium and Graeter’s puts an extra sweet note into Mystery Flavor month for us.”
