KungFood Chu's AmerAsia made a brief announcement about their impending closure on their Facebook page today.
"Attention!!! AmerAsia will be closed at the end of February. Get your fixes ASAP," the post read.
As you can imagine, the announcement created quite the panic for devoted fans of the establishment.
But manager Annabelle Hussey has confirmed via a phone call that the restaurant's hiatus will only be temporary — about two to three weeks — while they renovate the space.
Hussey explained that the eatery is expanding in both the front and back to add more seating and a larger kitchen, as well as a multi-use space for parties, carry-out, etc.
