What started as an pop-up specializing in arepas at Over-the-Rhine's Findlay Market in 2016 has since grown to a brick-and-mortar market and restaurant — with a second eatery location on the way.

The Arepa Place, owned by Isis Arrieta-Dennis, serves up authentic Colombian eats inspired by her home country. The eatery has become a hot spot in the Findlay Market neighborhood since opening, and with its expansions to Wyoming this fall, The Arepa Place will have the opportunity to grace even more taste buds with the flavors of South America.

The new eatery will take over the space formerly occupied by CWC, the Restaurant in Wyoming. Arrieta-Dennis says the new eatery will feature the same fast-casual dining style guests experience at their Findlay Market location, but this space will not have the market aspect to it. However, she says they will offer some dry packaged goods.

The Wyoming location will also feature a full bar and outdoor patio space.

The team behind CWC, the Restaurant posted about the news on Aug. 3.
