Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11 and several national chains and area eateries are offering special discounts to active military members and veterans to say thank you for your service. All deals require proof of service.
Taste of Belgium — All Taste of Belgiums bistros in Cincinnati are offering a free Belgian meatball and frites meal to "men and women who have retired from or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces." Condado Tacos — Condado is offering two free tacos to active military and veterans with a military ID this Veterans Day. Frisch's Big Boy — Frisch's locations are offering a free meal to all military veterans and active duty military on Veterans Day. Bring your military ID. Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery — Rock Bottom is offering a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu to all active military and veterans. The menu includes a bacon cheddar burger, bacon chicken macaroni and cheese, chicken fried chicken and kölsch-battered fish and chips. You must be in your military uniform or have a military ID to receive the deal. Rock Bottom will also be tapping a Vet's IPA at 5 p.m. on Nov. 11. Applebee's — Since 2008, Applebee's has served 9.8 million free meals to military members. They'll keep that tradition going this Veterans Day with a free meal for all active military and veterans with valid ID. Dine-in only.
