These Cincinnati Restaurants are Honoring Veterans and Active Military with Veterans Day Dining Deals

Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11 and several national chains and area eateries are offering special discounts to active military members and veterans to say thank you for your service. All deals require proof of service.

Taste of Belgium — All Taste of Belgiums bistros in Cincinnati are offering a free Belgian meatball and frites meal to "men and women who have retired from or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces." Bring a military ID, veterans organization membership card, a photo of yourself in military uniform, military dog tags, citation or commendation or come in uniform to receive the complimentary meal. “We are honored to have the opportunity to salute and thank our military service members this Veterans Day and look forward to making this an annual tradition,” said Jean François Flechet, counder of Taste of Belgium, in a release. 1135 Vine St., Over-the-Rhine; 2845 Vine St., Corryville; 3825 Edwards Road, Rookwood; 16 W. Condado Tacos — Condado is offering two free tacos to active military and veterans with a military ID this Veterans Day. The taco spot is also offering one free taco with any food purchase to veterans and active military (with a military ID) every day going forward. 195 E. Freedom Way, The Banks, condadotacos.com.

Frisch's Big Boy — Frisch's locations are offering a free meal to all military veterans and active duty military on Veterans Day. Bring your military ID. The deal is valid for up to $10 and is dine-in only. Multiple locations including 25 W. Fifth St., Downtown; 520 W. Fifth St., Covington; 3226 Central Parkway, Clifton, frischs.com.

Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery — Rock Bottom is offering a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu to all active military and veterans. The menu includes a bacon cheddar burger, bacon chicken macaroni and cheese, chicken fried chicken and kölsch-battered fish and chips. You must be in your military uniform or have a military ID to receive the deal. Rock Bottom will also be tapping a Vet's IPA at 5 p.m. on Nov. 11. Then, from Nov. 11-17, 25 cents from each pint will be donated to The Barracks Project, a local nonprofit that works to prevent active service members and veterans from becoming homeless. 10 Fountain Square, Downtown, rockbottom.com/locations/cincinnati.

Applebee's — Since 2008, Applebee's has served 9.8 million free meals to military members. They'll keep that tradition going this Veterans Day with a free meal for all active military and veterans with valid ID. BIBIBOP — BIBIBOP will be giving all active duty military and veterans a free bowl. In-store purchases only. Multiple locations including 228 Calhoun St., Clifton; 7800 Montgomery Road, Kenwood, bibibop.com.

Bonefish Grill — Bonefish is offering a free appetizer to all active and retired service members with a valid military ID. Multiple locations including 2737 Madison Road, Hyde Park, bonefishgrill.com.

Buffalo Wild Wings As part of their Wings for Heroes promo, present and past members of the armed forces will receive a small boneless wings and fries on Veterans Day with proof of service. Multiple locations including 200 Calhoun St., Clifton; 83 Carothers Road, Newport, buffalowildwings.com.

Carrabba's Italian Grill — All weekend (Nov. 8-Nov. 11), veterans, active military, police officers and firefighters with a valid ID can get a free order of calamari at Carrabba's restaurants. Carrabba's will also be offering 10 percent off to all active and retired service members any and every time they visit a Carrabba's restaurant. Logan's Roadhouse — Active duty and retired military can get a free meal from the American Roadhouse menu from 3-6 p.m. on Veterans Day. Multiple locations including 6835 Houston Road, Florence; 3720 Stonecreek Blvd., Colerain, logansroadhouse.com.

Outback Steakhouse — Outback locations are offering a 20-percent-off Heroes discount from Nov. 8-11 for all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders with a state or federal service ID, as well as military personnel and their immediate family members with valid ID. Red Lobster — The lob is offering a free appetizer or dessert to veterans, active duty military and reservists on Veterans Day. Bring a valid military ID or proof of service to get a free sweet chili shrimp, mozzarella cheesesticks, Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp, seafood-stuffed mushrooms, lobster and langostino pizza, signature shrimp cocktail, langostino lobster artichoke and seafood dip, vanilla bean cheesecake, key lime pie, warm apple crostada, chocolate wave or brownie overboard.
