Cabana on the River
It's official: Summer is on its way and the West Side's Cabana on the River is welcoming it with open arms, opening its doors for the season on Monday, April 12.
The seasonal tropical watering hole with a famous Long Island iced tea (with sour pink lemonade) and plenty of seafood offers river views, volleyball teams and live entertainment.
Current COVID-19 guidelines listed on the website include:
- No parties larger than 10;
- Patrons will not be required to wear masks, but staff will;
- There are no reservations, but there is a Yelp waitlist app to which you can add yourself; you can also add your name to a waitlist at the host stand;
- The restaurant asks guests to stay seated at their table and avoid congregating.
A few others are listed, but Cabana says all are subject to change. "We are trying to provide the best service possible, while staying within the state and CDC guidelines," the website reads.
