Brew House is hosting its 30th-annual chili cookoff with some fun twists.
Chili-cookers are invited to bring their meat or vegetarian chili to Brew House in a Crock-Pot by 2 p.m. for the judges to sample, but make sure to bring a non-cash bribe to win the judges favor; get creative with your bribe as it is a large portion of the scoring.
Contestants will receive a free handmade bowl and have a chance to win the $200 prize for the meat chili winner or $100 prize for the vegetarian chili winner. If you don’t have a chili recipe to share, head to Brew House with $10 to get a handmade bowl to fill with chili.
