Rapper-turned-rocker-turned-Country singer Kid Rock sold out Riverbend Music Center well in advance when he performed last September with Brantley Gilbert and Wheeler Walker Jr. Mr. Rock is returning to perform at the same venue on Sept. 28 for, according to Riverbend's press release, "One Hot September Night!" with special guest and noted football lover Hank Williams Jr.

Tickets for the concert go on sale on Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com.

Mr. Rock — who began his career as a rapper working with Too $hort and recording for Jive Records, then, over a couple of decades, shifted into being a Modern Country artist (check out his musical evolution below) — was recently in the news after posting a photo of himself in American flag pants during a golf outing with the President (of the United States! Of America!), perhaps the most 2019 photo of the year so far and the probable movie poster if they ever remake Idiocracy as a documentary. The pair hit the links on the eve of the Attorney General's summary of the Mueller Report being made public last weekend.
