Pop band Lucius’ latest leg of its Live Nudes tour, an all-acoustic run in support of the stripped-back 2018 album Nudes, is kicking off at Cincinnati’s Memorial Hall this Wednesday, May 1. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets are $31-$46. (Click here for tickets/more show info.)

The roots of Lucius began when singers Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig met while attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston more than a decade ago. The group has since built up binders full of critical acclaim and a hardcore following (including fans who copy the co-lead singers’ distinct look when attending shows).

The latest Lucius tour comes after Wolfe and Laessig completed a two-year stint as back-up singers on Roger Waters’ extensive world tour, which wrapped in December. Lucius follows up its headlining run with a support slot for Lord Huron at a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre show in Colorado, as well as four shows opening for Jackson Browne in New York City this June.

Here's the music video for Nudes track "Woman," featuring footage from the band's 2018 Live Nudes tour.

Indie Pop act Pure Bathing Culture is the opener on Lucius’ current tour. The duo just released their latest album, Night Pass
