Andrew Bird today (Feb. 11) announced The Great Summer Stroll tour which will find him teamed up with Calexico and Iron & Wine for a 16-date jaunt that includes shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Hollywood Bowl.

According to a press release, the Indie Folk triple threat is coming to Riverbend's PNC Pavilion on June 20.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com.

The three acts have crossed paths on the road numerous times over the years and have even shared some of the same touring musicians. The idea for the co-headlining tour came with they all played a show together in Boston last year.

Calexico and Iron & Wine collaborated on the Sub Pop album Years to Burn, which was up for Grammys this year in the American Roots Performance and Best Americana Album categories.

Bird's latest, My Finest Work Yet, was nominated for the Best Folk Album Grammy this year.
