Go green with the Cincinnati Celtic Festival and celebrate the Saint Patty's Day halfway mark with authentic Celtic music, dancing and dining. The festival runs noon-11 p.m. Saturday and noon-9 p.m. Sunday at Fountain Square, Fifth and Vine streets, Downtown.

Live musical performances highlight different Celtic sounds and instruments, from Irish bagpipes and traditional pipes and drum outfits to modern Celtic sounds from locals Roger Drawdy & the Firestarters (pictured) and The Kreellers from Detroit. Dancing and crafts will be on display throughout the weekend, and Guinness is on tap.

The festival is presented by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Foundation, a nonprofit, charitable organization whose mission is to promote education, provide scholarships and advance Irish culture in Greater Cincinnati.
