Cincinnati music icon Bootsy Collins has some wise words to share regarding staying safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Funk legend posted a photograph of him and his wife on Instagram on March 23, along with a perfectly Bootsy message for his followers, asking them to "put on your funk shield and guard your family and friends against the intruder."
Bootsy's uplifting message should be taken to heart. Together, we can protect ourselves and others by staying inside (unless you work out of the house to perform an essential function like providing health care).
The CDC has listed several ways you can stay healthy and prevent the spread of the virus including washing your hands often, avoiding close contact, staying home if you're sick, covering coughs and sneezes, cleaning and disinfecting and using a face mask if you're sick.
