A.M. Nice’s new single Provided

This Friday, July 26, Cincinnati rockers A.M. Nice are following up their 2018 album, End of an Era, with a new single. For the new tracks, the adrenalized, melodic Punk/Post Punk trio mixed up some of the fuzzier bombast of its self-titled debut album from 2016 with the cleaner, more polished style exhibited on Era.

The limited-edition 7-inch vinyl version of the single features the songs “Scooter” and “Man on a Wire”; the digital version (to be available at amnice.bandcamp.com) also includes the bonus track “Elliott the Man.” The single marks the 60th release from local indie label Phratry Records (phratryrecords.com).

A.M. Nice plays a release show Friday at Southgate House Revival (111 E. Sixth St., Newport, southgatehouse.com). Showtime is 9 p.m. and admission is just $5. It’s a strong lineup, with the trio being joined by Cincinnati bands Madqueen and Cold Stereo, veteran area musician/recording ace Mike Montgomery with Kelley Deal of The Breeders and Louisville, Kentucky’s Bon Air.
