Near the beginning of 2020, which somehow simultaneously feels like both minutes and years ago, Cincinnati Rockers Foxy Shazam announced their comeback with a performance planned at the Taft Theatre in April, after a month of teasers.

The show sold out in just one hour. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert was eventually postponed to Jan. 30, 2021.

As the novel virus again surges across the state (and entire country), the band announced via their social media channels on Nov. 17 that the rescheduled show has now been canceled. The post explains the unfortunate circumstances, but their pledge to wait until they can perform in a safe environment for their fans. They also announced that ticket holders will receive ticket refunds.

They promise, however, "to bring Foxy to you in other ways and when the time comes we will put on the best shows you’ve ever seen and we can all freak out in a room together."
