Experimental Electronic Pop Party-Starter Dan Deacon to Play Free All-Ages Concert in Cincinnati This April

Deacon is scheduled to perform at Urban Artifact in Northside on April 18 in support of 'Mystic Familiar,' his first album since 2015

Experimental Electronic Pop music superhero Dan Deacon will get the party started in Cincinnati in 2020 with a special springtime concert in Northside.

According to a post from show presenters Radio Artifact, Deacon will play a free, all-ages concert at Urban Artifact on April 18. The show is also listed on Deacon’s tour schedule at dandeacon.com.

Earlier today, Deacon released the music video for “Sat by a Tree,” the first single off of his forthcoming album, Mystic Familiar. The album is due Jan. 31 on Domino Records and marks his first since 2015’s Gliss Riffer.

Deacon has performed in Greater Cincinnati several times over the years, including at shows with Animal Collective, No Age and Deerhunter, as well as at the Bunbury Music Festival in 2012 and the MidPoint Music Festival in 2017.
